Steak is a very deep concept!

People tell me that their lives are so hectic because of the company they keep, the decisions they make, and the way they manage their time. Each time someone talks about it, I have no choice but to refer them to the idea of a piece of well–done steak. Now before you click the red button marked X in your top right-hand corner, give me a chance to explain myself. At family barbecues, steak restaurants and church picnics, a large slab of meat is put onto a grill to be cooked such as to remove the impurities it possess as a raw meat. Once cooked, it is much smaller than it was before, but it may very well be in the condition most suitable for dining. If you're not asleep yet, let me explain how this carries into your life. In life people can have all the friends they want, all the money they want, all the blingy ice they want and the fastest cars, and still be miserable. As a matter of fact, they are more prone to experience hardships, which partially gives leeway to the hip-hop phrase "more money, more problems". So when people come to me with their problems about all these things going on in their life, I explain steak to them:

God wants us to surrender those things most important to us in order to see if we have the ability to handle future struggles. So basically, just like the fire diminishes the slab into a smaller burnt piece, you should strip away those things that are hindering you from getting anywhere spiritually. Get rid of friends that you can tell discourage you more than anything. Change your schedule, and get rid of time consuming activities even if it means missing out on important stuff. Be humble more than meek in situations, even if people question your character. Now if this leaves you as a deprived piece of nothing, you are displaying what is known as quality over quantity. It may not be the largest thickest piece, but it is the most juicy, flavorful, satisfying delicacy, and it is everything anyone could ever hope for. Take Job for example. God allowed the Devil to take everything away from him, even the clothes on his back:

Job 2:3:

3-And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

His wife even told him to curse God and die:

Job 2:9:

9-Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God, and die.

So what did Job say? "God, I curse you because of all the things you are letting happen to me?:

Passage Job 1:21-22:

21-And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

22-In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Passage Job 13:15

15-Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Steak.

If you trust in God for your breakthrough, then he will bring the increase. I am steak, so when people come to me with their problems, I am just enough to satisfy their needs. I'm not a lot of philosophies and religious theories; I'm just qualitative straight-to-the-point truth.

Put your spatula down and give me some feedback, please.

Life in Christ really has it's benefits

There's no other way i can say it! When you live for Christ, you can't help but be truly happy. and i aint talkin bout that happy where you're content. NO! hear me. im talkin bout that-

LORD, YOU KNOW I BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB AND NOW YOU GOT PEOPLE TELLING ME THEY GONNA CALL ME BACK TO SET UP AN INTERVIEW, I WAS SCARED ABOUT ONE OF MY GRADES AND YOU WORKED IT OUT FOR ME, I WAS GETTING INTO ARGUMENTS WITH CLOSE FRIENDS AND NOW ITS MELLOWED OUT AND EVERYTHING'S BACK TO NORMAL, YOU'VE GIVEN TO ME THE FAITH THAT SHOWS ME THAT I DON'T NEED TO BE LOOKING FOR THAT SIGNIFICANT OTHER AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, I JUST NEED TO BE FUFILLING YOUR WILL AND "ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO ME", EVERYTHING IS FALLING INTO PLACE AS FAR AS MY FAMILY'S NEEDS, YOU ANSWER PRAYERS! AND SOON IM GONNA BE MAKING THE MONEY THAT I NEED TO MAKE BECAUSE I'VE PUT MY WHOLE LIFE INTO YOUR VERY ABLE AND WILLING HANDS!!!!!!!!

-happy, you feel me?

now don't get me wrong. Christians are humans, too. we all go through hard times. but knowing that God is on our side shows us that sooner or later things are gonna work out because he is able to help any situation.

So what am i saying? I'm saying, live for Christ and ask him to come into your heart and be your personal Lord and savior! admit that you are a sinner,(cuz we all are) and if you believe that he died and then God raised him from the dead on the third day, I promise as soon as you do this, it will feel like a weight off your back. why? because you are forgiven of your sins and Jesus' holy spirit now lives within you! if you don't feel different when you do this, please come and smack the black off of me. yep that's how serious salvation is.

Living your life for Christ can be a great thing! you jus have to let him work and live through you!

I promise you will feel happy in Jesus when you come and walk in the newness of life!!!

any questions, jus send me some feedback!!!

p.s. thanks Rosie!

Living a saved life does not have to be boring.

I am a born again christian, and as such, there is a certain amount of dignity that I have to maintain. I want Christ to be reflected in my life and I think that is a very important aspect of my life as well. People have referred to me as "Rev", "Bishop" and (not to toot my horn) "a man of the cloth", and it's very humbling. I don't take pride in it, but it does make me feel like I am at least trying. That being said, the life of a saved person can be very boring, Things of the flesh (anything outside the will of God) can be so much more fun than spiritual things. Music, movies, television, social websites and many other things are very enticing and can steer your view away from what God wants for you. To me, It's all about your level of conviction. I believe that if you are learning who you are in Christ (like all believers are) you you can put your limits on all the aforementioned things. You know what you have no business watching, and you know what types of music are against the Lord. In that same respect, there are masterpieces that I enjoy that are not even faith based. You as a human being have the right to be in the world, but not of the world. I believe that as long as you do not let it consume you, this world has so much to offer. Let it influence you, but don't let it compromise you. I see it as (in a way) somewhat of a requirement for inviting people into the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 9:22 (King James Version) says: To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made All things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Skateboarder kids are not going to be interested in any kinda spiritual thing unless someone is flipping an Ollie with a bible in their hand lol Jesus wants you to stay in his will, but does not want you to be a robot. And that also gets on my nerves. People who are so deep in Christ, they become super spiritual Christians. Everything was made by God, but everything ain't God. What I mean by that is that things like praying before you go somewhere or eat something is important, but not when you and i can't have a 30 minute conversation without you telling me that I need to repent because I say something is stupid. Now I'm not saying that it isn't good to be that deep in the Lord, but be yourself, too. I'm gonna be me. My relationship with the Lord is at that point where he can be the center of my life. And so should every other believer. But it does not have to be boring. Your being saved can actually be the reason you are fly.
